The dB140 puts you in control of your safety by giving you a way to make people aware of your presence, even when they're not looking. With 140 decibels, the equivalent sound of a jet engine, the dB140 is a potentially life-saving accessory when riding in towns and cities. This bicycle horn ensures you're always heard, thanks to its two distinct modes:

"Piercing mode" is a high-pitched 140dB duo tone, primarily for road use, designed to be heard by car, van, and truck drivers, as well as pedestrians with headphones. "Horn mode" is a 121dB car horn-style sound, intended for use to warn pedestrians in parks and on trails.

The dB140 is the loudest cycle horn on the market, allowing you to alert distracted drivers and pedestrians to your presence. This makes cycling much less stressful, with fewer emergency stops and more time spent enjoying the ride. The Garmin-style mount ensures the dB140 is compatible with all bikes, including those with other Garmin devices like GPS computers and radars.

The remote trigger makes the dB140 safe and easy to use while braking, and the small, sleek, and completely weatherproof horn weighs only 3.6 ounces (including mount, trigger, and batteries). Two AAA batteries are included, lasting up to 12 months with normal use (6 x 1-second blasts per day).

To ensure a perfect fit with all handlebar sizes, two mounts are included: one for bars with a diameter of 22-26mm (universal fitting for all bikes) and another for bars with a diameter of 31.8mm (road bikes, drop handlebars). The dB140 is designed for use by adults and older teenagers (16+), while Hornit's Mini or Nano bike horn and light are better options for kids.
